  3. Place your bowl in the refrigerator or freezer to cool.
  4. Once cool, use a mixer or whisk to whip the body butter into a smooth texture.
  5. Place your lotion in an upcycled jar or glass container.

2- Sunflower Oil Deodorant Stick

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup Sunflower oil
  • 3 TBSP Beeswax
  • 1 TBSP + 1 TSP Arrowroot powder
  • 1 TSP Zinc oxide
  • 2 TSP Baking Soda
  • 30 drops of the essential oil(s) of your choice
  • Old stick deodorant container that you have cleaned out.

Directions:

  1. Combine the sunflower oil and the beeswax in a bowl.
  2. Place this bowl in a hot water bath to melt the beeswax and let it combine with the sunflower oil. 
  3. When the sunflower oil and beeswax have melted and combined, take the bowl out of the hot water bath and dry off the container, then add the arrowroot powder. 
  4. Then add in the zinc oxide and mix well. Be careful not to inhale the zinc oxide. 
  5. Add in your baking soda and mix well. 
  6. Finally, add your 30 drops of essential oils. You may add less or more in any combination you want. 
  7. When your mixture has been well combined, pour it into your stick deodorant container. 
  8. Leave it to cool until it becomes solid and then use as you would your usual deodorant.
